Dr Tomalin joined the practice in 2023 following the merger of Cale Green Surgery with HMMG. She had been a partner at Cale Green Surgery since 2004. She offers a full range of General Practice care. She is the Lead Doctor for Diabetes and offers dementia and palliative care in our local nursing homes.

Please note that phlebotomists are only able to take blood samples – they do not carry out other clinical tasks such as checking blood pressure, giving injections, or performing examinations. Ian Stanyer is our Practice Manager and Managing Partner, bringing over 30 years of dedicated service and leadership to the practice. Throughout his career, Ian has played a pivotal role in shaping the development and success of the organisation. He has successfully led the practice through multiple mergers with our branch sites, ensuring continuity and high standards of care throughout.
As the Primary Care Network (PCN) Lead Manager, Ian also oversees collaboration across local practices to support integrated, high-quality patient services. His extensive experience and commitment to innovation make him a key leader within both our practice and the wider healthcare community.

Wendy Richards is our Deputy Operations Manager and has been part of the surgery team since 2019. She began her career with us as a receptionist and, through dedication and hard work, progressed to Branch Site Reception Supervisor before taking on her current management role.

Reception Team
Our reception team are the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the surgery. They handle incoming calls, manage patient enquiries, and assist patients on arrival by checking them in and ensuring they know where to wait for their appointment.
Receptionists support patients by processing triage requests, booking appointments, and directing them to the most appropriate healthcare professional or service. This may include in-practice options such as the First Contact Physiotherapist, or external services like Minor Eye Care or Pharmacy First.
With a strong focus on patient-centred care, our reception team are dedicated to ensuring that every patient is treated with kindness, respect, and understanding.
