Urgent Appointments
What do I do if I need an urgent appointment?
To book an urgent appointment:
- Contact us Online
- Access our online contact form via your NHS App
- Contact your local surgery directly. Our reception team will be happy to assist you.
Sharing a brief reason for your appointment helps us direct you to the right clinician. Our team includes a range of professionals such as pharmacists, mental health practitioners, care coordinators, and social prescribing link workers.
For urgent matters, you will be offered an appointment with the first available appropriate clinician at your practice. In some cases, a follow-up may be needed to fully address your concerns. You may also be directed to other suitable services, such as the Minor Eye Service or Pharmacy First.

Routine Appointments
To request a routine appointment with a member of our clinical team:
- Contact us Online
- Contact your local surgery directly. Our reception team will be happy to assist you.
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Cancel or Change my Appointment
We are currently experiencing a high number of patients who do not attend their appointments.
If you are unable to attend, it is very important that you cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient who may need it.
If you cannot attend for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.
There are several ways you can cancel an appointment:
Home Visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, please contact the reception team. In some cases, the clinician may telephone you first to determine whether a home visit is necessary. They may also offer a telephone consultation if appropriate.
If a home visit is necessary, please try to let us know as early as possible, preferably between 8.00am and 9.30am so that the doctors’ visiting rounds may be planned efficiently.
